Authentication-based services that are misconfigured or that use insecure protocols (FTP, HTTP, SNMP, etc.) can allow credentials and other sensitive information to be transmitted in plaintext across the network. Teleseer detects and surfaces these credentials automatically.

1. Load the target project
2. Select the Credentials tab to view credentials

Passwords in Timeline Events

1. Load the target project
2. Select the Events header in the Timeline protocol listing to expand it

3. Click and drag to highlight authentication event time blocks in the swimlanes

4. In the Inspector panel, scroll to the Events section and hover over an event to view details
